Our#sunday mornings are for sweet breakfast, and what a better way to wake up to than the smell of cinnamon and apple filling the house?

Ingredients 1 apple 30g Raisin 30g Pinenuts Puff Pastry Roll 20g butter 50g sugar Cinnamon Orange Jam 1 egg Rum Icing sugar Vanilla Icecream Half lemon

Peel the apple and cut into 4 pieces, let them soak in water and lemon juice for about 10 minutes. Take them out and cut into little cubes. In a pan, prepare the melt the butter and panfry the apple cubes, adding sugar and cinnamon. In the meantime, put the raisin to soak in water as well to get them juicy and soft. When the apple is well caramelised, add the raisin and the pinenuts and a splash of rum. Put the heat high to let the alcohol evaporate. Place the mix in a bowl and let it cool down. Place in a baking tray the puff pastry and wet it with some orange jam. Add the apple filling and roll the pastry over it to obtain a rectangular pastry. Use the yolk of an egg to brush the top of the pastry and dust a little bit of icing sugar. Bake in the over at 180 for half an hour. Let it cool down and dust more icing sugar. Serve with some fresh vanilla ice cream and a dust of cinnamon.
