LIVER "ALLA VENETA"

A Northern #Italian delicatessen for meat lovers.

Ingredients for 4 people

600g Livers (can be veal, chicken or any other preference)

4 white onions

Black pepper and Salt

Olive Oil


Start by cleaning and cutting the onions into thin slices. In a frying pan, start by gently pan frying the onions in olive oil at low heat, turning them often to make sure they cook evenly without burning. Add pepper and salt and half a glass of water.


Cover with a lid for about 15 minutes to make sure they get soft and juicy.

Cut the liver into thin slices as well. Turn the heat up and add the liver in the onion. Keep mixing everything together to make sure the liver cooks well and its edges are golden brown just for about 4 minutes. Serve in a plate with some fried onions on top as a crunchy garnish.
